MENU’ FOR LACTOSE INTOLERANT PATIENTS

BREAKFAST

  • 1 cup of coffee + 1 glass of oat or rice or almond milk + lactose-free dry biscuits 
  • 1 cup of coffee + 1 glass of lactose-free yogurt + lactose-free dry biscuits
  • 1 herbal tea with 1 teaspoon of honey + lactose-free dry biscuits

MID-MORNING AND MID-AFTERNOON SNACKS

  • Fruit

MONDAY

LUNCH

1 plate of pasta with fresh or dried legumes

Vegetables

DINNER

Lactose-free cheese

Vegetables + 1 sandwich made with semolina, rye or kamut flour

TUESDAY

LUNCH

Fish: cod or sea bass or gilthead or sargo or mullet or octopus or squid or cuttlefish

Vegetables + 1 sandwich made with semolina, rye or kamut flour

DINNER

2 eggs

Vegetables + 1 sandwich made with semolina, rye or kamut flour

WEDNESDAY

LUNCH

1 plate of pasta without dressing or with tomato sauce or with vegetables combined with Parmesan cheese matured 36 months

DINNER

Meat: free-range chicken breast or veal 

Vegetables + 1 sandwich made with semolina, rye or kamut flour

THURSDAY

LUNCH

1 plate of vegetables soup with legumes

Lactose-free cheese + 1 sandwich made with semolina, rye or kamut flour

DINNER

Fish: cod or sea bass or gilthead or sargo or mullet or octopus or squid or cuttlefish

Vegetables + 1 sandwich made with semolina, rye or kamut flour

FRIDAY

Lactose free- Pizza 

Please note

  • drink about 1.5-2 liters of still water per day, distributed equally throughout the day and between meals;
  • avoid dried soups, instant potatoes, cooked ham, mortadella, wurstel;
  • use 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil a day and the spices you want;
  • avoid vinegar;
  • the vegetables can be raw or cooked or pureed;
  • use oven, steam, grilling, boiling, foil as cooking techniques;
  • it is possible to reverse the entire days or single meals, trying to avoid eating the same foods for lunch and dinner.
